“Letters to Toshiko”

On the occasion of the opening of the retrospective exhibition, Toshiko Takaezu: Worlds Within at The Isamu Noguchi Foundation and Garden Museum, the Toshiko Takaezu Foundation is launching a creative archival initiative, Letters to Toshiko, in which we invite you to share personal anecdotes, stories of her influence, or ways in which her life, work, and teachings have inspired you. These letters will be a part of our archives and may be shared with curators, friends, family, and board members. Feel free to upload your letters here or email them to contact@toshikotakaezu.org

It all started when…

Ruth Arts, the foundation’s benefactor, inspired board president and grandniece Darlene Fukuji and board member and curator Christina Hiromi Hobbs to write a creative piece featuring Takaezu and the Foundation. See the article here.
